We are pleased to introduce the the District Learning Network (DLN), an online professional learning connection service that promotes professional development activities, events and ideas to all employees of the Manchester School District.
Our concept is simple: if you wish to share some of your professional expertise with your colleagues in the form of a workshop, lecture, shadow experience or discussion group, plan it and submit it to the DLN. If you wish to expand your repertoire and put more teaching tools in your toolbox, sign up for a learning session on the DLN. Essentially this is your professional development program, offered for you and by you, and ample research is available to support the shift to classroom and job embedded professional learning for teachers. You are the experts, and who better to learn from than each other.
